Controlled Electrical Drives
Controlled Drives course consists of following topics:
- basic synthesis of controllers for electrical drives in the frequency domain
- design of block structures and modelling of electromechanical and electrical part of drives
- design and analysis of armature current controller and speed controller for DC machine with constant flux
- design and analysis of field current controller and back-emf controller for DC machine with flux weakening
- design of controllers for DC machines for steady-state precision requirements
- cascade control structure - advantages and disadvantages
- V/f control of induction machine
- field oriented control of induction machine and analytical design of the controller parameters
- field oriented control of permanent magnet synchronous machine and analytical design of the controller parameters
- simulation analysis of each controller in Matlab/Simulink environment
